This is a great article that applies to both working in an academic setting and out. A lot of these tips are things that would be useful to look at in a slightly different context at the end of each semester or academic year to track how you're getting by. It's immensely helpful to know what areas you're having problems in and being able to actually progress as opposed to having continual road blocks.
