Holy crap!!!! for years I had this huge Betty Boop collection thing going on! All my friends got me bags and t-shirts and dolls, and I dressed up as her for Halloween. I had no idea this was in the works. I really dont think it will last too long, but never he less, it might be fun.

I thought Betty Boop might have hit the dust, but I guess not. I think its really exciting that we are lighting up these old cartoons, and shows from our not so recent past, but I don't think that this show will be a huge hit. Who knows though, maybe it will be amazing. I can't wait to find out more about it!

I guess people have gotten tired of recreating movies for the stage. We've just moved on to comic books and cartoons. Not really all that surprising I guess. It will create a great demand for Betty Boop cartoons and items. She kinda did die for a while there. This is just one way to bring something back from the dead.

I loved Betty Boop as a child, and I think that there are a lot of directions that a musical based on her can go. Personally, I'm glad it's not another musical based on a movie, but it is still based on a well-known character that I'm sure will attract an audience. I'm interested to see what kind of plot for Betty Boop they have in mind.

I think Betty Boop is an interesting story to change into a musical. I definitely would never have thought to change it into a musical. Hopefully when it previews it can draw a crowd and actually open and not get crunched by the current economic problem.

I wasn't even aware that Betty Boop had a story to it; to me, creating a musical out of it would be similar to creating a musical out of Hello Kitty. Which, apparently, exists. What do you know.

Well, I suppose it could work. Go for it!

betty boop is such a great character. and it would be a great opportunity to give a good spin on it, since a lot of people are so familiar with the character.
