Five minutes to set up and strike the entire stage, lights, sound, and probably pyrotechnics. And if you miss the cut off you'll probably get stuck on camera looking like an idiot. Thats a lot of pressure and responsibility. Though it does sound like this woman has had a serendipitous career, stumbling into a lot of great jobs. I would like to do this kind of work.
It's interesting to focus in on stagehands lives before they were stagehands. Obviously, not many go to school for it and people like Pirot don't even want to stay in it. However, its understandable why they all love being apart of the process and working on those shows. Besides, who doesn't love touring the country and getting concert shirts!?
