Hollywood on verge of deal to end writers strike

Reuters: "Negotiators for Hollywood studios and striking writers have agreed to terms of a new contract that could be presented to union leaders in days and, if approved, end their three-month-old labor clash later this week, two sources told Reuters on Monday."

It is good to see that the WGA and the producers are coming to an agreement over the strike, since it has gone on for long enough. Hopefully when the strike is over, the producers will realize the importance of the writers and recognize that the writers should get paid when their work is in any medium, not just on broadcast TV.
