Contract outlined in Hollywood writers strike

Los Angeles Times: "Hollywood's striking writers and major studios have reached the outlines of a new employment contract, resolving key sticking points over how much writers should be paid for work that is distributed over the Internet, people familiar with the negotiations said Saturday."

I guess its good to see that talks are actually getting somewhere. I find it interesting that the writers have dropped the reality tv issue but I'm glad that they are recieving residuals for streaming and downloaded tv shows and exclusively web media. There does seem to be a light at the end of a 3 month long tunnel, and it looks like the strike was pretty successful. I just hope the agreement is as honky dory as this article has made it out to be.
