TwinCities.com: "Last September, you might remember, this column was devoted to the creative liberties theater producers sometimes take with their newspaper advertisements; carefully selecting and then reprinting chosen bits of a review to make a bad notice look like a rave.
Last week, something almost the opposite of that occurred.
In last Sunday's Star Tribune, the Guthrie Theater purchased a full-page ad that reprinted - nearly in its entirety - a positive review of its current production of 'Peer Gynt.'
The twist? The review was that of Quinton Skinner, theater critic of the alternative weekly CityPages."
