Three hurt after Emory stage collapses
ajc.com: "The workers, part of the crew putting up the outdoor stage at Emory's Clairmont Campus off Clairmont Road, were injured when a canopy collapsed about 5:15 p.m., said school spokeswoman Nancy Seideman."

Wow that really sucks for the student population. To have a show like that canceled last minute could not have been received well by the already complacent student body. It just shows how important of a job us in the entertainment industry have. The guys putting up the stage caused the show to get canceled. I bet they didn't know they had that kind of power.
Don't really know what happened, but it must not have been too terribly bad or the article would have said more. Yeah, people often forget that if the show and venue isn't loaded in, then there often isn't a show. I think its interesting that at the end of this article they referenced the number of people confirmed to attend on Facebook, which of course is the absolute truth when it comes to social life. On a slight side note to this comment, I am sometimes blow away that talent will still go to colleges after being so successful.
