You’re Never Too Close For Safety Glasses
Toolmonger: "I can’t think of any job in the workshop where safety glasses aren’t warranted — even just sweeping the floor or using a Dremel tool. You’ve only have two eyes, and you’ve got to protect them."

I love this article because it acts like reading glasses that are also safety glasses is an amazing invention. Why did it take somebody so long to think these up? I cannot tell you how many seventy year old men I've come across in my town who are still carpenters and metalists and their noses are always glued to whatever they are reading for a project. After a week you eventually ask "can't you get prescription safety glasses?" How many times did somebody have to ask this question before a guy (or girl) hollered "Eureka?"
It's great that they're working on ways to keep people more glued to their safety. To make it so that you don't have the excuse of just needing to take off your safety glasses to read something. Glasses should always be worn no matter what just because even if you're not working someone else might send a gift across the shop.
