"Call him the gray beard of the avant garde, the veteran, the gray hair. That might seem a contradiction in terms, but not for Jed Allen Harris, who embodies other apparent contradictions as well."

It is good to hear Jed recieve some recognition. With how big the Oresteia was last year and how successful Lysistrata was the year before, this notice seems overdue. It is also interesting to receive some background infor on the man. I directing we were able to get some information about him, but this shows the students how successful he really is.
It is amazing to me how many great teachers we have here at CMU who are already so accomplished in the industry. I had no idea that Jed Harris was an accomplished director all I knew about him was that he has a picture of David Lynch on his door but I'm glad to know who he is. I will definitely make sure to see "Key to the Field" now that I know what a good Director Jed Harris is.
Ooohhh Jed. This was actually really interesting to read. I had no idea of Jed's background so this was really informative. I can totally understand the bordom that comes with playing it safe.
he's right. there hasnt been too much risk in theatre in a while. it's time for that to change, and i'm glad to see it's starting here
