Adobe vs Adobe – A Review of CS3
Freelance Switch: "If you are confused about Adobe’s new offerings, you aren’t alone. Currently, one can not only purchase Adobe Creative Suite 3 Web and Design Premium, but also both variants in a Standard edition, plus Production Premium and the all-inclusive Master Collection."

Computing store says 525 for the master suite. It's a lot of money (not compared to retail), but I might go for it. One of the themes of this review seemed to be that the integration (and bridge) seem to be doing a lot better between former adobe products. This was a theme of cs2, but it kind of didnt work out that well. I wasn't expecting much in the area of integration with macromedia products, but for what I do, I don't really need them that much. I'm most excited about the better raw file capabilities in photoshop. I also wouldn't mind seeing what they did with audition (now soundbooth).
The computer store pricing is a blessing. I've been waiting for cs3 for over a year and I finally snatched it up before the start of school. I think for the most part Adobe is moving in the right direction. I've been enjoying the new features, but my wallet is just a little too empty, even after student pricing.
