‘What We Do in the Shadows’ Production Crew Builds New Mansion

I am a huge fan of the original ‘What We Do in the Shadows’ film, and while I’m not as big of a fan of the tv show I still find it the right balance of spooky and funny. Hearing that they had to find a new location in order to proceed with another season must have been headache-inducing. Hearing about this story makes me appreciate location scouts quite a bit - because they had already invested a significant amount of time into finding that location and telling the story with it. It’s really great that they were able to get measurements of the front of the house in order to build this replica. It would be interesting to hear about what they would have planned to do if they couldn’t get those measurements (like if they would have had to go over old clips and build a model from those images).

Wow the production crew of “What We Do in the Shadows” is very talented. It is extremely impressive that they were able to build the facade of this mansion and make it identical to the original mansion. I have only watched one episode of “What We Do in the Shadows” and it is definitely funny in a very unique way. It is sort of like an absurd and fun ironic humor. It is not an amazing show by any stretch, but it is definitely amusing. The tv show is a horror mockumentary series set on Staten Island that documents the life of four centuries-old vampires. Apparently, the second season introduces a whole new set of characters including the human neighbors and new creatures, such as werewolves and ghosts. One thing that is very fun about the show is definitely the costumes of the vampires which are very creepy and cool as well as the set decoration which definitely depicts a creepy old mansion that is sort of in a state of decay.
