Regional Spotlight: How Trinity Rep is Working Through The Global Health Crisis

www.broadwayworld.com: Now more than ever it is important to support theater and do our part to keep the art form that we love so much alive and as thriving as it can be during these unprecedented times. While the global health crisis has temporarily put the theater world on hold, pausing all live performances and large gatherings to help stop the spread of COVID-19, theaters around the country have taken a hit.

This is a tough time for the theater industry. Given that it is an industry that thrives on human connectivity, both physically and mentally, social distancing and lock downs have really proven to be detrimental to the employees and activities of this industry.
Many theaters have resorted to such means as online rehearsals and video performances, so as to make sure that they continue to entertain the audiences in these tough times.
Trinity Rep is one of such theaters, which is trying hard to continue their work, via different means. A few of their people are meeting each other weekly and making sure to check up on everyone; ticket sales are being converted by box office personnel into refunds or donations etc.
It makes me really happy that even in such difficult times, Trinity Rep is able to continue work in some way or another and trying to be there for everyone.
