Snapple Brings Facts To Life With Lady Liberty's Giant Summer Sandal
NY1: Everyone needs a good summer sandal, and Lady Liberty is no exception.
According to Snapple, the Statue of Liberty wears a size 879 shoe, which is one of almost a thousand facts found under the caps of Snapple drinks.
The company brought the fact to life in Midtown on Monday, setting up Lady Liberty's sandal at 6th Avenue and 50th Street.

This is fantastic! They actually took one of their fact and brought it to life! This also represents the fact that Snapple is an American company and they support our country. I love the fact that they actually measured Lady Liberty's shoe size. I wonder what the shoe is made out of? How long did it take them to build it? Why did they decide to put it outside? Why did they do it in the first place? All of these questions it would be nice to have an answer to, but for right now it is just a piece of art! This piece reminds me of the lady who made the big red cardigan for the giant statue of Mister Rodger in an article previously. Great exhibition for the summer though!
