It is so fascinating watching WTF adapt to the times and how they are choosing to grow as a company. I personally worked the summer season of 22'. WTF had some big changes that year the main one being a cut in staff numbers and then shopping out all of the scenery. This model is much more equitable to the employee and allowed for a less stressful season, but it also took away from the learning opportunity available for the rising technical staff that WTF used to support. I am interested in how they will start to create a "music festival" for theatre and what that will look like for the technical elements and their scope.

I do love me a good theater festival. as playground is on the Forefront of my mind and the idea of the festival coordination is something that fuels my passion for the Arts in a never-ending way, reading about the Williamstown theater Festival was very insightful. there are lots of big names who have worked at the festival in the past, which is super cool. Although this article doesn't give much insight into what the Festival May entail, it does pretty consistently reference it's inspiration and relation to the beloved music festival structure. Lollapalooza is mentioned as is Coachella, and the fact that audiences go for a headliner but stay for an entire Festival is something that this theater fest is hoping to recreate. It does make me wonder if this structure can inform the festival that I am currently working on, or if that is something that is a viable reference.
