Almost made it through this week of Newspage comments only writing about tools, but I don't mind as I now get to write about one of more favorite musicals; "Come From Away." I had the pleasure of seeing "Come From Away" for the first time this winter break when I was back at home in LA. Going into it, I had no clue what to expect. I honestly had never really heard too much about the show, but my mom wanted to see it, and I would rarely say no to seeing a musical. I was absolutely blown about by the show and the performers in it. The story is told spectacularly, doing justice to a very tragic event, something that is not easy to do. The actors did a magnificent job transitioning from playing one character to playing another. And while it isn't too crazy, the set, lighting, and sound perfectly compliment the show and the acting.
