Hillary and Clinton Broadway Reviews - Critics Ratings
www.broadwayworld.com: Behind closed doors in the state of New Hampshire during the early days of 2008, a former First Lady named Hillary (Metcalf) is in a desperate bid to save her troubled campaign for President of the United States. Her husband, Bill (Lithgow), sees things one way; her campaign manager, Mark, sees things another. If any of this sounds familiar, don't be fooled; in a universe of infinite possibilities, anything that can happen, will.

I’ve heard about this show previously and in seeing that the show got mixed reviews I can’t say I’m surprised I can’t imagine this show is everyone’s cup of tea. Putting politics onstage is sure to not make everyone happy with your perspective and approach, with that being said I would personally be very interested in seeing the show performed. It sounds funny and purposeful story and the dynamic between Hillary and her husband puts them in a very unique situation. It also sounds like the cast they got for the show was very talented alongside some great directing. The reviews made it seem like perhaps the writing fell up short in some places but without seeing the show I can’t be in any position to try and judge that. Things I do know are the Hillary is a fascinating, intelligent women who in the political sphere has had some monumental decisions to make and her husband is probably what made the show needing to be a comedy.
