What a sweet article about something so scary. It's so cool to hear how this father and son business turned into a successful company that still stays true to it's goals. If this industry is as successful as it sounds, it is interesting to hear how the city of Pittsburgh don't really advertise it. It makes me question how many other horror companies are around the area because even if this horror company is so successful, are they the only one and is that why it's hard to get the word out? I know the article mentioned the Kenny would horror events, but they are already an established company of Pittsburgh. Overall, I am interested in hearing how this business continues to grow.
This is very interesting, I did not know Pittsburgh has such a scary side! Halloween is such a personalized thing, and can bring out what seems to be the absurd in many people. I will make sure to go out and visit this place, for finding a good scare can be quite scarce. This is the time for people to go all out, and have an excuse to do what they really want to do. It is interesting to hear that in Pittsburgh, Halloween has become a tourist attraction. Holidays aree generally the time to go home and see family, but for Halloween this is not the case. It gives people a holiday to their own personal lives. It is for friends and the day to day, to honour your inner freaky and let it be acceptable. I will make sure to visit this attraction and see what the people of Pittsburgh can do to try and scare me.
The haunted side of Pittsburgh is not one that I am familiar with at all. I always knew Pittsburgh as the steel city and I guess it makes sense that it could also be home to some of the best horror attractions during the fall. Halloween is such a special time for some people to dress up, go to costume parties, and for the kids, going trick or treating to get candy. Haunted houses are also an incredibly run machine. The productions that some of the houses put on are so good that they grab national attention competing with hundreds of other houses all around the country. The special effects and lighting components are really what make some of these attractions really stand out from the rest. I know people back in South Carolina that begin working on haunted houses nearly a year in advance trying to come up with new themes, and develop new haunted attractions for visitors to go through to try and provide an experience that nobody has ever had before.
