ETC, Edinburgh and Eddy the teddy!
blog.etcconnect.com: Every year, the largest arts festival in the world takes over Edinburgh in August, and this time, ETC Ltd made the trip to Scotland to be on hand for all technical service queries. Our friendly field service engineers, Chris and Dan, were onsite throughout the busy month offering training and support to customers across the festival.

ETC Is one of the biggest names in theatre, even if you do not specialize in lighting. It was really cool to read about the international outreach that ETC has developed and to see some of the designs from this festival. It stated at the beginning of the article that there are over 1000 productions a day which blows my mind. Obviously it would be impossible to see them all but I am sure that even when you miss a few, the ones that you choose to see instead are just as worth it. In the lighting industry ETC has really started to develop a monopoly with even setting an industry standard with the Source 4 in every iteration. Not only does ETC make lights, but their light boards are just as standard as their lighting. ETC has a very broad range of light board that make it very easy to find the right board for you no matter what space you might be putting on a production in.
