“In Search of Liberty” Film Crew on Strike
IATSE Labor Union, representing the technicians, artisans and craftpersons in the entertainment industry: The 30-member crew of IC Liberty Pix’s film “In Search of Liberty” are on strike in an effort to collectively negotiate a living wage, classification as employees rather than independent contractors, and overtime pay. The crew, made up of current or recent students of the Savannah College of Art and Design, have been on strike since July 3.

Thats just an upsetting situation. Those people deserve better treatment from the company. Rules apply to everyone and the disgrace of the company is pathetic this crew didn't deserve any of that. IM glad they stood up for what was right. They knew what they believed in and they new it was worth fighting for. When something is not right people need to stand up for it other wise it will never change. They could have inspired another group to stand up for whats right and not to sit in the darkness. Its truly inspirational and i hope the company pays for there poor choice and there unethical ways.
