In school it can be hard to set aside time to listen to something and do something other than school work. During high school and college so much work is thrown at you and you have to learn how to manage it all in a timely manner. I think that time management skills are the main thing that are holding people back form spending time learning outside of the classroom and on topics other than those studied in class. A good majority of students consider themselves to be procrastinators, therefore they are always rushing to finish work and generally feel overwhelmed with their work. But, if a student would schedule out their work and set aside a small chunk of their time, maybe once a week, to sit down and listen to a podcast I think that would be very beneficial. The podcasts in this article can teach students important things about life and things that they could even apply to their schoolwork. Topics like relationship advice, sleep habits, good economic practices, and so much more and these are all things that aren’t taught in all classes but still very important to learn
