This is wonderful. I wasn't aware of this program before but I love what they're doing. We all aware that minorities, especially African-Americans, are discriminated against and most have an extremely hard time getting their visions or ideas accepted. With this foundation giving out so many awards, it not only brings light to the people who wouldn't normally be able to, but it gives them the opportunity to push their ideas forward with the chunk of money they're receiving. Because they aren't white and suburban, they don't have they money to get it started, and this helps them majorly. Also its awesome that they are doing this mostly for art. When we see foundations and grants being passed out to people, they are normally for educational reasons rather for theater, art, etc.. The only problem I have with this is that there is not more of these foundations to help the youth out.
