Fuze has created an infographic called, “The Ugly Truth About Meetings,” which explores how meetings can be unproductive.

Infographic. INFORGRAPHIC! I honestly have such a love hate relationship with infographics. They are such an easy way to get information through to readers without boring them to death. They’re funky and fun to look at and are almost like a student took notes during a lecture and here they are. In that same vein, however, it’s like that same student took really bad notes then decided to share them with the world. For this infographic in particular the notes were good, just not very well organized. The graphic jumps from one topic to another barely touching on the points previously given. They give up 3 main points: Wastes money, time and Efficiency. We are only given one clip on money and none of them have anything to back them up. The author also doesn’t address the things that meeting do positively. At the end it does tell ways to make meetings more productive, even thought by then if the readers were paying attention we begin to wonder: what’s the point of the meetings at all?
