This looks like a cool project, though the resolution in the final picture leaves much to be desired. It raises questions in my head as to why they didn't use special products designed as media screens. After the XL Video presentation with Bob Magee back in the fall, I know there are no shortage of these products. And they seem like the perfect choice for a venue and occasion such as this. Over all though, a giant video screen in grand central is pretty cool, and it reminds me a little bit of this project: http://improveverywhere.com/2013/02/05/grand-central-lights/
Which I just learned took place during the same celebration. Neat!
