Kudos to the writer. The industry must take initiatives to celebrate diversity. How can we allow new stories to effect us if we allow the same stories to be told by the same people? The article makes a great point in stating that we can easily change this trend by simply encouraging the artistry of aspiring women who want to tell stories. By simply mentoring, inspiring, and introducing women to the possibilities of film and theater, there is a chance that we are moved by heroes that could only be told from a woman's point of view.
