What an amazing opportunity for undergraduates and grads to be a part of Disney with a summer internship. Disney isn't typically based in New York, but this internship is in a convenient location for many people. The program sounds intriguing and definitely grabbed my attention. I then proceeded to create a linkedin account and look further into the opportunity. Thank you for posting this "article" to the blog, for I would not have found this opportunity otherwise. How cool would that be to work for them over the summer as an intern.
This sounds like an awesome opportunity for students. I think one thing thats particularly spectacular about this is that is open to all undergraduate students. I think too many of the internship options out there for students are just limited to right after junior or senior years. I dont think this allows students to get as many skills in the professional world as they otherwise could and I think that its a detriment to companies because the most qualified students might pass them up if another company snagged them earlier on. As someone who wants to work for WDI, I will definitely be looking further into this.
