I had the pleasure of listening to Mr. Pilbrow give a lecture on lighting design a couple of years ago at USITT. What he said at the time were all completely new and revolutionary ideas on how to think about the process of designing for shows and how to make your ideas come to fruition. At the time i had no idea that he had been designing for so long, and consulted for such large theater, its very inspiring to know that such long careers exist in our world, however rare.
