I would absolutely love to see this production of "Peter Pan." "Peter Pan" was one of the first shows that I saw in the theater growing up. The story is engraved in my mind, and it still seems to magical to me. This particular production sounds like it is attempting to heighten that magic through the use of imagination. The idea of setting the play in a Victorian attic and creating "Neverland" with found objects in the attic is exciting and different. My only concern is that young children who are very familiar with the story may be disappointed that they never really "went to Neverland." However, I am hopeful that the creative team and cast will still emit the magic that "Peter Pan" has the capability of producing for its audiences.

I have absolutely always loved "Peter Pan", but I honesty am very skeptical of this production. Part of what is magical about "Peter Pan" is that there are children wanting to never grow up. It is great to have adults "never growing up" by playing children, but I don't think it adds anything to the story. I do not disapprove of imagination, in fact, quite the opposite, I feel that the story of "Peter Pan" is one that is unique and is magical in its own way.
