This seems like one of those "catch-all" jobs. Stage Management isn't even included in the job title, but it's a huge part of the job! I also wonder about the "Associate" part of the title, as there was no mention in the job description of who this person would report to, work with, or be managing. While I understand that this is a one-woman show, and is likely of a proportionate technical scale, this still sounds like a ton of work for $1,000 over four days. There is mention of compensation for the management of technical advance, which I assume would mean going to a venue in advance to figure out how to put the show on in that venue, but I wonder if that compensation takes into account the amount of time it takes to create paperwork, etc. in order to prepare to take the show to each venue, regardless of whether technical advance is needed for the venue or not. Basically, I wouldn't take this job without finding out more information about the logistics of compensation and amount of time worked.
