New Dewalt ToughSystem 2-Drawer Tool Box (DS250)
ToolGuyd: It’s no secret that I am extremely fond of Dewalt’s crazy-durable ToughSystem tool boxes. Here’s my review of the small ToughSystem case in case you need a reminder. But ever since the smaller Tstak tool boxes were released I had wondered why there wasn’t a ToughSystem tool box with drawers. Well, now there is.

Who knew so much thought went into tool boxes. But I guess it makes sense; organization is the key to any job. And if you are working from a toolbox, it must help to have all of that organizational ability. I have an old toolbox that I use, but it's not very large OR well thought out, which actually, as weird as it is, makes me appreciate a well organized tool box. It does make a difference.
I love tool boxes and organization products it keeps your tools all in the right place and conveniently accessible. I also like the drawer on this one that has the little bins for screws and such because unless you have a hardware room like CMU it can be easy to get all of your hardware jumbled into one container and then you have to sort through them to find the right one.
I've been following the progression of Dewalt's tool storage options pretty closely over the last year since I bought a piece of the original ToughSystem line. I'm quickly being swung in favor of the this series when it's compared to the LBoxx from Bosch or the TSTAK (also from Dewalt. To me, the big takeaways from this design are the ball-bearing drawers, rolling carrier and being able to access all of the boxes when stacked. I'll be interested to see the improvements coming to the TSTAK too, Dewalt is certainly stepping things up with portable storage!
