Cloud computing. Here is yet another example of computers beginning to become simply a window in on a more powerful machines out of sight. Between various VPN software, and ideas such as Virtual Andrew, the cloud gaming service OnLive, and now here AutoCAD, we are starting to enter a world where you no longer need your computer to have the top specs in terms of performance (RAM, Processor Number & Speed, Graphics Card, etc.) but simply you need a fast enough internet connection to access a computer somewhere else which does have the necessary specs. As this continues, it'll be interesting to see where it leads computer design in the future.
