Do Crowbars Really Need Hinges?

gizmodo.com: The Hultafors 209 adjustable wrecking bar features a nine-point articulated claw, a rubberized grip, and claims to optimize the everyman's nail-pulling experience. But does the crowbar design require improvement?

If you can't figure out how to use a regular crow bar you shouldn't be touching one in the first place.

I...I don't get it. $108 for an ADJUSTABLE CROWBAR? Why does one of the simplest machines (the lever) need a freakin' hinge? Okay, perhaps there are times when a slightly different-sized crowbar for different applications... But the review is right, as soon as that screw gear fails (and it seems pretty likely, given the kinds of force crowbars can see) you've got yourself a really expensive worthless chunk of metal...
