Dancing partners: At Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Cupid's arrow strikes more than usual

Post Gazette: With all the romance in the air this Valentine's season, it's hard not to long for a loved one to be near. For about a dozen dancers with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, that wish is fulfilled year-round because they are partners not only on the dance floor, but also in life.

This is cool! Apart from all the normal problems of working with the person you're dating or married to, it seems awesome to work so closely with people you care about. If two people are dating, and working together in such a demanding and high stress field as dance, and can do so successfully, their chances for getting through the hard parts of marriage are probably pretty good. Although, imagine how horribly awkward it would be if/when someone breaks up... and are still 'partners' in the ballet.
