Movie mogul knocks state's film perks

The Santa Fe New Mexican: Is New Mexico losing the battle for film and TV productions? It's probably too early to tell four months after changes to the state's film-incentives program went into effect. But Hollywood producer Jerry Bruckheimer gave an off-the-cuff review last week. Bruckheimer, producer of such multiplex winners as Pirates of the Caribbean, National Treasure and Black Hawk Down, wants to remake The Lone Ranger, a $215 million Disney project starring Johnny Depp. New Mexico has gotten the nod.
