A Grinchy heart: Actor Stefan Karl loves the green meanie

Post Gazette: Stefan Karl gets all green and mean when he becomes the Grinch, and it's not too much of a stretch, he says. While growing up in a small Icelandic fishing village, Mr. Karl was exposed to the " 'Cat in the Hat' and 'Green Eggs and Ham' and all that," he relates in a Dr. Seuss-like sentence. As for the Grinch, "We were probably made for each other. I always loved him."

I love that this article is so nice and heartwarming, even if it is about the 'Grinch'. It is cool to see how classic stories can reach everyone, even in Icelandic fishing villages. I am happy that he is able to do things in his career that make him happy. But even more so it is nice to see, that his priority is still his family. The fact that last year he watched his kids open presents on Skype, and this year he made sure to make it work that he could have his family with him, is really spectacular.
