Big Ten Network Gets Big Rebranding
Chicago Scenic Studios, Inc.: Change is constant in TV and the Big Ten Network (BTN) is no different. The joint venture of Fox Networks and the Big Ten Conference that owns and distributes the Big Ten Network rebranded it as "BTN" in May 2011 and soon after that, the changes began to roll out.

It's interesting in the way set design for TV differs from in other industries. There was FOX who had some initial renderings and then there was the decision to bring in an outside designer, and how there is specific detail to the columns, walls, and etc. It's also interesting to note how the logos, of both the network and the schools in the Big Ten are prominently displayed within the spaces, and how that works into the scene design as well. Overall, just seeing the redesign of a TV set as compared to the initial design is interesting to view in this way
