Real Life Story Series: Stranger Than Fiction - Featuring School of Drama Acting & Directing Alumni Jon Skovron & Ryan Dixon
Join two young alumni authors as they tell their stories of writing and publishing their first works. Jon Skovron’s <http://jonskovron.com/>  (CFA’99) debut novel Struts & Frets, recently in paperback, has received accolades far and wide, including from Cory Doctorow, who said the book “will feel instantly authentic to anyone who’s ever felt the pride and shame of being an outsider.” Jon’s second novel Misfit was published this summer to similar acclaim. Ryan Dixon (CFA’02, ETC’04), co-author of the graphic novel HellHouse: THE AWAKENING and an editor of Fierce & Nerdy <http://www.fierceandnerdy.com>  also works as a script doctor and ghostwriter. He is currently at work on a new novel, several screenplays and a musical.

The Real Life Story Series is free and open to all members of the Carnegie Mellon community.
