'Mary Poppins' revs up before it soars

Post Gazette: "It's not until the nanny from nightmare central arrives at the beginning of the second act that 'Mary Poppins' takes off in a sprint to the high-flying finish.
Being 'Practically Perfect,' as Mary Poppins explains her credentials, is all well and good, but nothing beats a practically perfect foil to get the juices flowing.
