$5M grant brings Ireland to Chicago
Chicago Sun-Times: "Chicago theaters, galleries and concert halls will help showcase the full range of Irish culture in the coming year as part of Imagine Ireland, a $5.2 million project underwritten by the Irish government.

I find it spectacular that a $5.2 million grant from a government is highlighting one european nation in the USA. The amount of revenue the works could bring in might make it all worth it, but the culture which will be seen should be unthinkable. Being well cultured is something I have always thought highly of and experiencing other cultures is something Americans need more of.
