I think this is a really clever way of advertising. Not only does it provide a service of allowing attendees to remember their experience through video, but it would create a positive impression. Social networking can be utilized in ways beyond just ad space, and I can see this being a viral way of promoting the show. I'm suprised that the cost of this new procedure was in the 5 digits though, but if it actually attracts more people to the show, then it is a great investment.
