I have had quite a few people ask me 'how did you come up with the sub layouts?' So, I started thinking about the train of thoughts that is passing by here at the moment. My first experimentation into 'subs pointed the wrong way,' was the Sub Cannon stuff I did with Peppers."

I love this guy's posts, he seems to really have a good mixture of theoretical and practical, where as most of the time when I hear people talk about sound, they either take a strictly abstract look at it (not very useful anywhere) or a very empirical perspective, where it's nearly impossible to understand any of the reasoning behind why things work the way that they do. The combination of modeling, experimentation and creativity is both refreshing and interesting to read about. His approach seems to make the world of giant-audio somewhat less daunting, and much more interesting.
