Lifehacker: "So you've finally landed that job interview. Now it's time to seal the deal with a killer interview. How? For one, try mastering your 'Why hire me' story."
I think this is the hardest part of interviews. What I find most difficult is finding a balance so I am getting good points across about myself, but without sounding like snob. Most of the time people will go over the top with their stories making it sound as if they are the single most important person at their theater. What I find most effective is to not exaggerate the story, and to actually say if you made a mistake or not. I think employers appreciate it much more when someone admits to making a mistake, and then know how they would correct it.
