Will Joyce Theater Be Home for Union Stagehands?
Playbill News: "Local One of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) filed a petition with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) on Sept. 14 requesting an NLRB-supervised election of the Joyce Theater stagehands to certify Local One as their collective bargaining agent."

It is some what inserting that the theater did not take advantage of the offer to jone the union. i understand the theater was some what afreade of the coast of heal care that they would have to pay for. but i think that the theater should have sat down with them to talk about this. instead of now having to beg then to get in to the union. they are going to get in the same place as they would have been if they just sat down with them to begin with and now they are going to spend a lot more money to get to same place. i think that they where dum not taking advantaged of this to begin with.
