Post Gazette: "The music bounces off the walls at the Dance Alloy studios from the moment you open the front door.
As you stand in the entrance hallway, the rhythmic drumbeats of the 'Slumdog Millionaire' soundtrack act like a lure into the main studio. Inside the room, jazz instructor Michelle van Doeren urges 30 young dancers to tap their inner Indian spirit to the throbbing strains of 'Jai ho!'"

Don't get me wrong, i love these artists and this music, but I honestly feel that Broadway is spending all its time rehashing the "stuff that works." Jersey Boys was a great show musically and a great success, so of course another show in the same likeness will be produced. I like to believe that theater has a greater purpose than making money, but obviously that's not the case on Broadway. I think most people can agree they are tired of "formulaic musicals" but unfortunately that's the only thing that still makes money. Hopefully Broadway can prove me wrong in times to come.
