Wow that is a long list of high school productions. What a range of shows they have as well. Two schools appear to be doing Into the Woods, which would be interesting to see after having it here. Break a leg to all!
I feel like every high school picks from the same five or six musicals every year. I think it would be better for the kids and the community if the school picked something edgier or at least less popular. My high school did Songs for a New World last year, and a lot of people came to see it and were excited about it because they'd never seen it before.
I'm quite impressed with the range of musicals this list encompasses. I wish my former high school had been so creative or thought so far out of the box --- I think we were on an Annie, Fiddler on the Roof, Grease and Sound of Musical rotation!
This is a great list of musicals to see. I'm really impressed with the high school musicals selections, they are really striving to challenge themselves with some of the selections. It's so exciting, good luck to all of these places!
