Bono’s $31 Million ‘Spider-Man’ Delays Rehearsals, Opening Date
Bloomberg.com: Arts and Culture: "Rehearsals for the most expensive show ever produced on the Great White Way have been put off from this spring, according to senior members of the production team, who declined to be named because an opening date has not been announced."

Who didn't see this one coming...? I'm not all to surprised. I would think that, even if the economy wasn't in such trouble right now, it'd be hard to pull off a show of this caliber so easily.
Nevertheless, I really want to see this show when it, or if it, ever comes out. I'm not so keen on the idea of turning Spiderman into a broadway musical, but surely the special effects would be great to see.
Duh.
I am so pissed that this show... even is coming to be. Why cant great Thespis adorn the great white way with shows that have CONTENT, and are not 'flash and trash.' I lament to say that we have seen the last of the original musical. RIP.
