The Big Test Before College? The Financial Aid Form

NYTimes.com: "Created in 1992 to simplify applying for financial aid, it has become so intimidating — with more than 100 questions — that critics say it scares off the very families most in need, preventing some teenagers from going to college."

I really hope this nre form is read for use sometime in the next four years. Even if it was just my ssenior year at least it would help out. It is so intense and daunting in its current state and I am really blessed to have a father who understands all that business.

Fasfa forms are so scary and daunting right now. Like Sarah I am lucky to have a father who understands what is going on and can point to a box and tell me what to enter in it. I really hope the system gets revised and that aid is easier to receive. It also won't hurt if the cost of education went down a little too.
