I think the history of Broadway is an interesting and sometimes obscure history that could be very helpful in this era. Looking at the trends of what worked what didn't work, and why, is an important think to examine before producing a new show, as it could save your production. I agree with these these two men on their definitions of best verses great. Especially the comment about Cats being very overrated. I agree wholeheartedly with their assessment.
