West End setting table for Sundays

Variety: "For years, foreign tourists in London have scratched their heads wondering why it's so tough to see a show on Sundays. But West End theater performances on the seventh day are poised to become the rule rather than the exception."

I think the statistics that are revealed on January 18th will probably show that Sunday matinees are a lot more popular than Mondays just because of the nature of the standard work week. I wonder how Equity members are going to react if they suddenly have to shift their day off to the beginning of the work week. I'm sure the members with families will be more upset more than anyone else.
