Vacancy at The Gravesend Inn
Gothamist: "It's haunted house season, and Theatreworks' high-tech haunted hotel, the Gravesend Inn (located at 186 Jay Street in Brooklyn), has returned. The creepy, creative project is produced by City Tech's resident theatrical troupe (part of the CUNY school's Department of Entertainment and Technology) and they claim to be a 'theme-park-quality Halloween attraction.' We went over to check it out for ourselves, and here are some sneak peeks."

I've been hearing rumors that there is a possibility that we will be doing a haunted house as one of our "shows". Whether this is true or not I think this is a great idea. It would be a challenge for designers and builders. The level of detail that is needed in a haunted house is a lot greater because of how the audience will be interacting with the set.
It will also be interesting to see how the whole design and theme is created. We normally have a script and director for the vision. It will be interesting to see what everyone’s role will become in this project.
