oh my god, i did not know Aaron Staton was an alum. and i am such a big fan of Zachary Quinto. he plays such a good character in a good show. it would be such an event to get to see them. especially zachary quinto just shot star trek.
I think it is always a lot of fun to talk to alumni. They always have really good advice not just about school, but about the world beyond. It is comforting to see that we have somewhere we are aiming and will not be in school for the rest of our lives. Talking with upper classmen and alums is always a great way to get perspective on things and they always seem to be very helpful and interested in your success.
This summer, when I was casting shows in New York, I met two CMU alums and had a really nice conversation with them. Like I said, it is always nice to see that there is an end to the tunnel (as fun as going through the tunnel may be.)
